Руководитель Департамента информации и массовых коммуникаций Министерства обороны Российской Федерации, генерал-лейтенант Игорь Конашенков сообщил: «Вчерашнее заявление представителя МИД Украины Георгия Тихого, запрещающего иностранным и украинским СМИ пытаться попасть к находящимся в «котлах» украинским военнослужащим через освобожденную Россией территорию, стало официальным признанием катастрофичности ситуации для остатков ВСУ в Красноармейске, Димитрове и Купянске.
Тем самым официальный представитель украинского МИД подтвердил, что никаких иных возможностей въезда или выезда из «котлов» журналистов или самих военнослужащих ВСУ, кроме как по российским «коридорам безопасности», уже не осталось. Запрет на въезд в эти «котлы» по коридорам, предоставленным Минобороны России, журналистам иностранных и украинских СМИ необходим киевскому режиму для сокрытия реального положения дел на фронте и обмана международной общественности и жителей Украины. Конечной же целью этих действий является сохранение верхушкой киевского режима благоприятных условий для получения и продолжения хищения финансовых средств, направляемых западными спонсорами на войну с Россией».
