Rosaviatsiya has reissued approval documents for Tupolev aircraft, consolidating four previous type certificates into a single one for all modifications of the Tu-204/214 family. The document will also help improve aircraft maintenance, as spare parts, tools, and maintenance procedures will be common for all models of the family, as well as for carriers. The unified certificate will also enable Tupolev specialists, as the developer, to implement identical materials and certified design elements within a single modification on Tu-204/214 family aircraft.
